Love us into ourselves
love us beyond the New Year’s resolutions and into deep resolve,
love us beyond our crippling fears into fullness,
love us beyond parties and pretense into our truest presence,
love us beyond the race and rivalry into renewal and rest,
love us beyond the bluster into breath, breath deeply held,
love us that we may love ourselves,
claim our courage and live, moment-by-moment,
into Your dream that makes all things new.
